The WYSA offers two league levels: Travel and Recreational

Travel offers more competitive league games in the West metro area. The different levels range from 10U – 16U. Travel teams play doubleheader games two nights a week and weekend tournaments in May, June and July.  Travel also has a Fall league. Please visit the website under the Travel tab for more team information.

Recreational - The WYSA now offers recreation league teams at all age levels . This is a great opportunity for younger kids to get involved or for those older girls that just want to have fun and play softball. All teams work on learning the game and improving fundamentals.  The recreational teams usually play one or two nights a week. The anticipated evening of play is noted for each age level. Days and times subject to change.

When are the Recreational team rosters and schedules posted?

The Recreational Director will try to post these on the website by end of April. A mass email will go out to all players letting you know when it has been posted to the website. Practices and games schedules for the weeknight can have varying days depending on field availability and the quantity of teams for the season. Recreational Director will try to schedule these on consistent nights for each level.

Can I request to have my daughter play on the same team as another player?

Travel cannot honor this request. Players are placed on teams based off their evaluation scores.

Recreational has tried to honor these requests. WYSA tries to understand your car pooling needs. Parents please understand that teams need to be fair in equal distribution of age levels on each team.
