Westonka Youth Football (WYF)

The Westonka Youth Football program provides a great opportunity for kids to participate in organized skills development, flag football, and tackle football. The Westonka Youth Football program begins in Kindergarten with a developmental skills program that runs through 2nd grade. In grades 3rd through 4th, the Westonka Youth Football program forms flag football teams and participates in an In-House program. In grades 5th through 6th, the Westonka Youth Football program forms tackle football teams and competes against other area programs/schools.



Mini-Hawks Monday Night Football (Kindergarten-2nd Grade)

2023 SEASON INFORMATION
This introductory football program will focus on teaching kids the basic fundamental skills and rules of football through fun games and activities. Equipment and instruction will be age appropriate and participants will be grouped according to age and/or ability level. Programming will take place on Monday nights beginning on Monday, September 11th and will conclude on Monday, October 9th.


WYF Flag Football (3rd & 4th Grade)

2023 Season Information
A mandatory Flag Football kick-off will take place on Monday, August 21st at 6:00pm at MWHS Field #12 (Track) so coaches, players, and families can have a chance to connect. Practices will begin on Tuesday, August 22nd and a preseason game will take place on Thursday, August 31st. Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at various Westonka locations including Field #12 (Track), Field #10 (JV Baseball Field), and at Grandview Middle School. Games will only take place on Saturdays and will officially begin on Saturday, September 9th. The season will conclude on Saturday, October 14th.


WYF Tackle Football (5th & 6th Grade)

2023 Season Information
Player Evaluations will take place on August 14th and 15th beginning at 6:00pm at the MWHS South Practice Fields (next to the WAC). Practices will begin on Thursday, August 17th and games will begin after Labor Day and run until mid-October. Practices will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings at the MWHS South Practice Fields (next to the WAC). Games will only take place on Saturdays. Games run approximately 90 minutes. The season will conclude on Saturday, October 14th.
