Westonka Youth Football (WYF)


The Westonka Youth Football program provides a great opportunity for kids to participate in organized flag and tackle football and compete against teams from the surrounding area. The WYF will form tackle football teams at grades 5th and 6th, and will compete against other area programs. WYF will form flag football teams at grades 3th and 4th, and we will participate in an In-House program.

WYF Tackle Football (5th & 6th Grade) 2023 Season Information

Evaluations will take place on August 14th and 15th beginning at 6:00pm at the MWHS South Practice Fields. Practices will begin on Thursday, August 17th and games will begin after Labor Day and run until mid-October. Practice days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings. Games will only take place on Saturdays. Games run approximately 90 minutes.

WYF Flag Football (3rd & 4th Grade) 2023 Season Information

A mandatory Team Meeting will take place on Monday, August 21st at 6:00pm at MWHS Field #12 (Track Field) so coaches, players and families can have a chance to connect. Practices will begin on Tuesday, August 22nd with a pre-season game on Thursday, August 31st. Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in Mound. Games will only take place on Saturdays and will officially begin on Saturday, September 9th.
